Trio of Falcons Claim All-NACC Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced the 2023 NACC Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams on Friday. The Falcons landed three honorees with Selena Esten on the first team, Carmen Rowe on the second team and Brooke Braga on the honorable mention.

Selena Esten

A senior midfielder from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Selena Esten is claiming her fifth-straight All-NACC honor. Esten led the NACC at 4.85 shots per game and was third in goals per game at 0.69. The senior captain scored nine goals and four assists in 13 matches. Against Rockford, she scored three goals and two assists, including the game-winning goal. She also had the game-winning goal in a two-goal, one-assist performance against Wisconsin Lutheran. Esten also scored a goal and an assist against Aurora and two goals against Edgewood.

Carmen Rowe

A junior defender from Copley, Ohio, Carmen Rowe is appearing on her third-straight All-NACC team. Rowe anchored one of the toughest defenses in the conference. She also scored a goal against Lakeland in the regular season finale.

Brooke Braga

A junior goalie from Belgium, Wisconsin, Brooke Braga is making her second appearance on an All-NACC team. Braga finished the season with 112 saves and helped the Falcons have four shutouts on the season. She had 11 saves against No. 15 Loras and Benedictine and 12 saves against Dominican.
