Falcons Compete at MSOE Invite

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Concordia wrestling program participated in the MSOE Invite on Saturday, picking up 59.5 team points to secure an eighth-place finish.

Junior Devin Gore (Plymouth, Wis.) was the Falcons' representative at 125 pounds, winning two matches by way of a technical fall and decision to collect 10.5 points for Concordia.

Junior Jeremy Pullen (Joliet, Ill.) went 5-1 on the day for Concordia at 165 pounds, rebounding after a quarterfinal loss with a technical fall victory and two major decisions. His third-place finish was the second-highest of the day for the Falcons.

Senior Jonathan Pullen (Joliet, Ill.) also reached the podium for Concordia, going 3-1 on the day to secure second place at 184 pounds.

Seniors Peyton Smith (Milwaukee, Wis.) and Cam Mercer (Glenview, Ill.) each went 2-2 at the open, as both collected a first-period fall victory and a decision.

Sophomores T.J. Mackey (Joliet, Ill.) and Seth Elliott (Long Beach, Calif.), as well as freshman Nathan Krause (Grafton, Wis.), also collected wins for the Falcons, accumulating five total team points.

The Falcons will be back on the mat on Thursday, December 8 for a road dual with the Elmhurst BlueJays.
