Women's Golf Wins with Season-Low Score at WLC

HARTFORD, Wis. – The Falcons were victorious on Saturday at the Wisconsin Lutheran Spring Quadrangular. Concordia Wisconsin took the crown at 357 strokes, 35 strokes ahead of St. Norbert at 392 strokes.

Sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) was the individual champion on Saturday at 83 strokes.

Junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) was only one stroke behind in second place at 84 strokes.

CUW landed another top-five finisher in senior Anne Schlageter (Mequon, Wis.) at 89 strokes in fourth place.

In 11th place was freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) at 101 strokes.

Sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) rounded out the flock in 16th place at 114 strokes.

MSOE finished in third place at 403 strokes, one ahead of Wisconsin Lutheran at 404.

The 357 strokes are the lowest round for the Falcons since 2017.

Saturday was also the first victory of the year for the Falcons. 

The Falcons are scheduled to wrap up the season on Sunday at the Brew City Battle.
