Falcons Finish Final Nine Holes of Whitewater Spring Fling

JANESVILLE, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team finished the final none holes of the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling on Saturday afternoon amidst the falling snow.

The Falcons finished in 12th place with 761 strokes. UW-Whitewater won their own event with 620 total strokes.

Sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) finished round two with 88 strokes and a final score of 182.

Senior Anne Schlageter (Mequon, Wis.) finished with 187 total strokes after 95 shots on Saturday.

With a total of 192 strokes, junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) completed round two with 97 shots.

Freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) and sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) rounded out the Falcon squad with round two scores of 101 and 121 respectively, and total scores of 200 and 236 strokes.

The Falcons with compete in the WLC Spring Invitation next Saturday.
