Falcons Attack Aldean Golf Course

Rockford, Ill. - The CUW women's golf team headed to Illinois to participate in the NACC Championships week one.

The Falcons finished day one of week one in fifth place with 395 strokes.  Aurora leads the pack with 324 total strokes.

Tied for 13th place, junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) led the flock with 93 strokes.

Sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart, Wis.) was second for the Falcons in 21st place with 96 strokes.

Sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) finished one stroke behind Montaba with a total of 97 strokes.

In 38th place overall and fourth place for the Falcons was freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) with 109 strokes.

Rounding out the flock was senior Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) with a score of 120 strokes.

The Falcons look to move up on day two in Rockford and eye week two of the Championships at Quit Qui Oc Golf Club in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin next week.
