Women's Golf stays consistent at NACC Championship

KANSASVILLE, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin played consistent golf on Saturday afternoon during a light rain at Brighton Dale Links and is in third place after two rounds of the NACC Championship. Maddy Zastrow moved into eighth place on the leaderboard to lead the Falcons lineup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin is playing its best golf of the season and at the right time, as it fired another 388 round to move into sole possession of third place at the NACC Championship. The Falcons have a 36-hole total of 776 (388-388).
- Junior Maddy Zastrow (Greendale, Wis.) moved up two spots on the leaderboard and into eighth place after carding a career-low 87, which was eight strokes better than the opening round. She had seven pars on Saturday, including five on the back nine, and was just two over after five holes on the incoming nine.
- Freshman Leah Wilde (Kewaskum, Wis.) moved up four spots on the leaderboard after shooting a 91 to bring her two-day total to 190 (99-91). She had five pars and a birdie on the par 3 eighth hole.
- Junior Haley Olkiewicz (Oshkosh, Wis.) sits in a tie for 15th place with a 197 total (94-103). She had just one par during her second round.
- Sophomore Kayla Haen (Appleton, Wis.) finds herself in 22nd as an individual with a 36-hole score of 208 (100-108). She drained a par putt on the 135 yard 12th hole.
- Junior Emily Hillmann (Germantown, Wis.) is in 27th position overall after shooting a 107 on Saturday to bring her total to 212 (105-107). She made a par putt on the 424 yard 16th hole.

BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Aurora remained in first place and increased their lead to 24 strokes after shooting a 359 in the second round. The Spartans current 36-hole total is 716 (357-359).
- Wisconsin Lutheran's Ellyn Mortell stayed in first place on the individual leaderboard, but her lead diminished to a stroke. She is at 24-over par and has a 168 total (80-88). Jennifer Feliciano (Aurora) shot an 82 during the second round to close the gap.

NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
- The third and final round of the NACC Championship will take place on Sunday, with the first tee times scheduled for 11 am.
