Landgraf named All-NACC First Team, Wagner is NACC Freshman of the Year

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin guard Madelyn Landgraf was named All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference First Team, while forward Brianna Wagner was named NACC Freshman of the Year. The league office announced the awards on Thursday and were voted on by head coaches.

Landgraf (junior, Elkhart Lake, Wis.) paced the Falcons all season in scoring, averaging 15.2 points per game, which was seventh in the NACC. She was third in the league in 3-point shooting at 39.6 percent and fourth in free throws made (103). Landgraf tallied double-digits in 22-of-26 games played and had 20 or more points in seven contests. She also had a team-high 80 assists and was second with 30 steals.

Wagner (freshman, Fond du Lac, Wis.) steadily improved as the season progressed and was also named to the All-NACC Honorable Mention and All-NACC Freshman Teams. She recorded eight double-doubles, including three in a row and four in the last six games of the season. Wagner was fourth in the NACC in blocks (39), seventh in field goal percentage (52.0) and eight in rebounds per game (7.8). She scored in double-figures in 16-of-25 games played, including a stretch of 11 consecutive in the second half of the season.

CUW finished the season 19-7 overall (11-2 at home) and 15-5 in NACC play.
