Stacey Brunner-Jones was "happy with the first half" of Saturday's game when her Falcons assumed control with a dominating 43-23 explosion.

After that it was just ho-hum as CUW (11-2 in the NAC) rolled to their 10th consecutive conference win, a 70-49 defeat of Rockford.

As per usual, the Falcons combined scoring balance with suffocating defense in dropping the Regents to 6-11 on the season.

Tiffany Hendrickson (17), Katie Luethe (16), and Becky Gifford (13) led the scoring while CUW collectively forced 28 turnovers.

Rockford actually shot 57% and got 14 points from Megan Lawler but the visitors were never able to get any kind of offensive rhythm.

Concordia shot 48% as the league-leading Falcons prime for next Tuesday's battle with second place Edgewood.
