GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- Freshman Maddie Zazas (Mundelein, Ill.) was locked in for game two, delivering a 4-for-4, five-RBI performance in the win. Another rookie, freshman Kendra Little (Hudson, Wis.) added three hits, two-RBI and two runs scored, while also earning the win with three solid innings in the circle.

- The Falcons poured on eight runs in the second inning thanks to nine hits in the frame. Little and Zazas each drove in two in the frame, while sophomore Christine Sharon (Cornell, Mich.) drove in a run with a double as well. Freshman Delaney O'Keefe (Muskego, Wis.) added an RBI single as she finished the game with two hits.

- Little gained her first career win, moving her record to 1-1 with three sold innings in relief of starter Emily Brekke (Waterford, Wis.). Little allowed three runs, one earned and struck out a pair. Senior Melissa Perkins (Park Forest, Ill.) came on for the final three outs, which included a punchout.

- Junior Lexi Holsten (Oshkosh, Wis.) was 2-for-2 and scored three times for the Falcons in the nightcap, while sophomore Deidra Weinberger (Mayville, Wis.) doubled. CUW totaled 16 hits with Sharon and Weinberger joining Zazas, Little and Holsten with multiple hits.

- Wisconsin Lutheran was paced by Abby Mahsem at the plate in game two. She went 3-for-3 with a three-run home run and scored three times as well. Mahsem also took the loss in the circle.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- The Falcons will look back at the opener as a game that should have been won. CUW outhit the Warriors 11-3 but a four-error sixth inning allowed Wisconsin Lutheran to score four unearned runs, erasing what was a 4-2 Falcons lead. The Warriors would add one run in the seventh for the 5-2 win.

- Perkins took the loss, but certainly did not deserve her result in game one. She allowed just three hits in the complete game effort and just one earned run. She struck out three and did not issue a walk.

- Little paced the Falcons offense with a 3-for-3 performance, which included a solo home run. Holsten was 2-for-3 with two doubles, while Zazas and O'Keefe added a pair of hits.

- Brea Johnson finished the game with two of the Warriors three hits, including a solo home run in the seventh. Libby Schellpfeffer picked up the win with 2.1 innings, allowing two earned.

UP NEXT
- The Falcons will visit Lakeland tomorrow for another NACC twinbill. The games are set to start at 3 p.m.
