Sobrilsky named NACC Softball Position Player of the Week

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin Softball catcher Carly Sobrilsky was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Position Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Sobrilsky (Brookfield, Wis.) drove in 17 runs over eight games last week for the Falcons, who posted a 7-1 record. She slugged an impressive 1.318 over those eight contests, belting four home runs.

Sobrilsky tallied multiple RBI in five games and finished the week hitting .591 (13-for-22), while reaching base at a .667 clip. She doubled twice and added a triple for the Falcons.

The Falcons are set to return to action today where Sobrilsky and CUW are set to take on the NACC Pitcher of the Week, Shannon Curtis and MSOE. First pitch from Milwaukee is set for 3 p.m.
