Softball Weekly Preview: Falcons aim to extend 10-game winning streak
MEQUON, Wis. - Since returning from their spring trip, the Concordia University Wisconsin Softball team has been playing some incredible softball with a 10-game winning streak. The Falcons are 8-0 in NACC games during the stretch and sit in a three-way tie for first place in the league standings with Aurora and Benedictine.
This week CUW will play four games on its home field, but in just two of those they will be the home team. The Falcons will host Wisconsin Lutheran on Wednesday in a game originally scheduled to be played in Milwaukee. The twinbill has been moved to the CUW Softball Field, but Wisconisn Lutheran will still serve as the home team on the scoreboard.
The Falcons will then play a pair of NACC doubleheaders over the weekend, beginning with two home games against Marian Saturday. CUW will then visit two-time defending NACC regular season champion Aurora for a twinbill Sunday.
