Late offensive drought hurts Men's Basketball

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin couldn't find a way to score in the final minute-plus of a NACC battle on Saturday afternoon, which allowed Lakeland to take a 78-73 game inside Woltzen Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jordan Johnson drained a pair of free throws with one minute and 46 seconds to play in the game, which put the Falcons behind by just a point, 74-73, in a tight game. From then on they would miss three field-goal attempts and turn the ball over once down the stretch. The Muskies answered with a pair of free throws by Jequan Pegeese with 55 remaining on the clock and clinched the victory with a second to play at the free-throw line.
- Concordia Wisconsin built a quick 6-2 lead, but from then on Lakeland led single digits. There were three scoring ties and one lead change in the contest. The visitors did hold a 44-37 lead in rebounding, but assisted on 10 of its 29 field goals.
- Johnson (junior, Cedarburg, Wis.) ended with a double-double (25 points, 10 rebounds), to go along with three assists. Junior Joey Zietlow (Oak Creek, Wis.) recorded 19 points, four rebounds and three steals. Sophomore Jared Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) tallied 10 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. 
- Lakeland had 31 points from its bench and scored 18 points on the fast break.
- The Muskies were led by Isaac Anderson who had 10 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.
