Mason named NACC Special Teams Player of the Week

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin kicker/punter Jacob Mason was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday night.

Mason (Hartford, Wis.) averaged 45.8 yards per punt on Saturday at Benedictine. The freshman specialist was called upon nine times to punt and pinned the Eagles inside their own 20 on two occasions. Mason also made all five of his extra point attempts.

The weekly accolade is the second of the season and of his career.
