Pair of Falcons claim a career-best day at Chicago

CHICAGO – Two members of the CUW women's track & field team posted career-best days at the University of Chicago Margaret Bradley Invitational on Saturday. The Falcons finished in 10^th place with 1.5 points. The host Maroons won with 268.166 points.

Senior Kathryn Schultz (Fredonia, Wis.) posted a pair of career-best marks on Saturday. She finished in 10^th place at pole vault at 2.53 meters. She also finished in 11^th place in the long jump at 4.39 meters.

Freshman Paige Winterfeldt (Roseville, Minn.) also notched a career-best mark in pole vault in seventh place at 2.98 meters.

The Falcons will compete again at the NACC Championships on Saturday.
