Pair of Falcons claim a career-best day at Chicago

CHICAGO – Two members of the CUW women's track & field team posted career-best days at the University of Chicago Margaret Bradley Invitational on Saturday. The Falcons finished in 10th place with 1.5 points. The host Maroons won with 268.166 points.

Senior Kathryn Schultz (Fredonia, Wis.) posted a pair of career-best marks on Saturday. She finished in 10th place at pole vault at 2.53 meters. She also finished in 11th place in the long jump at 4.39 meters.

Freshman Paige Winterfeldt (Roseville, Minn.) also notched a career-best mark in pole vault in seventh place at 2.98 meters.

The Falcons will compete again at the NACC Championships on Saturday.
