CUW Women’s Tennis Claims Share of First Place

For the second straight day, the Concordia women's tennis team made quick work of its opponent, defeating the Rockford College Regents 9-0 on Wednesday.
Kaitlyn Strehlow, Julie Spransy and Katie Fox all won their matches in straight sets by the scores of 6-0, 6-0, while Erin Henrich and Katherine Mooney only dropped one game each out of 13.
Henrich finished the regular season a perfect 11-0 in NAC play, while helping the Falcons finish the season tied for first place with Edgewood College, who came into the season as the preseason favorites.
The win also moved CUW to 12-4 overall, now three wins better than a year ago when the team finished 9-7. This weekend the Falcons will be a part of the NAC Women's Tennis Championship hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College, but taking place in Madison.
