Women’s Golf Grew in the 2021-22 Season

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team kept busy during the 2021-22 season and competed in 13 competitions during the year.

CUW finished with eight top-10 finishes on the season.

The Falcons ended the year on a high note with a victory at the MSOE Triangular at 395 strokes.

In the fall, the Falcons finished fifth at the NACC Championships with 1170 strokes.

Sophomore Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) finished 10th at the NACC Championships to earn All-NACC Honors.

The lowest round of the year for CUW came at the NACC Championships at 384 strokes.

Freshman Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) held the individual low round record for the season at 83 strokes at the Viking Invitational on May 1.

 Rebecca Curley and senior Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) both posted rounds of 87 this year.

The Falcons are looking for a strong season in the fall.
