Women’s Golf participates in Augustana Invitational

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Concordia Wisconsin competed in the Augustana Invitational and took 10th place as a team, while Maddy Zastrow led the Falcons as an individual with a 32nd place finish.

Falcon Individuals: Maddy Zastrow (84-85 – 169), Molly Mundinger (87-83 – 170), Abbie Haller (91-93 – 184), Amy Carpenter (101-93 – 194)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Maddy Zastrow (Greendale, Wis.) ended her 36-hole weekend with a 169 total (84-85) to take 32nd overall.
- Concordia Wisconsin as a team ended in 10th place with a 712 total (358-354).
- Freshman Molly Mundinger (West Bend, Wis.) was one spot back in a tie for 33rd with a two-round total of 170 (87-83), while freshman Abbie Haller (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) recorded a 184 total (91-93).
- Freshman Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) improved eight strokes and shot a 194 total (101-93), while junior Emily Bubla (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) competed in the opening round only and shot a 96.

BEYOND THE RESULTS
- William Penn and Illinois Wesleyan tied atop the leaderboard with a 623 total.
- Jackie Garcia (Illinois Wesleyan) won medalist honors with a 150 total (75-75).

NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
- Concordia Wisconsin travels to Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., for the 72-hole NCAA Division III Championship starting on Thursday, May 8 at Mission Hills Resort Golf Club.
