Falcons finish Eighth at Simpson

WAUKEE, Iowa – The Concordia Wisconsin shooting sports team opened the season at the Simpson Invite. The Falcons finished in eighth place at 1197 points.

In trap, junior Mason Schulteis (Kewaskum, Wis.) and senior Nathan Fingeroos (Cedarburg, Wis.) were at 92/1000. Senior Alexander Steiner (Kewaskum, Wis.) was at 84/100, senior William Harr (Great Falls, Mont.) was at 72/100 and freshman Timothy Gierach (Mequon, Wis. sat at 71/100.

Nathan Fingeroos led the flock at sporting at 67. Mason Schulteis and Alexander Steiner were at 57, with William Harr at 56 and Timothy Gierach at 44.

Mason Schulteis was at 88/100 in skeet. Nathan Fingeroos finished at 72, with William Harr at 68, Alexander Steiner at 67 and Timothy Gierach at 63.

In super, CUW was led by Nathan Fingeroos at 35/50, one ahead of Mason Schulteis at 34/50. Alexander Steiner sat at 28/50, with Timothy Gierach at 27/50 and William Harr at 23/50.

The Falcons will return to action at the Hoosier Fall Collegiate Invitational.
