Shooting Battled at the Collegiate Fall Central Midwest Conference Championships

SPARTA, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin shooting sports team competed in tough conditions at the 2023 Collegiate Fall Central Midwest Conference Championships this weekend. The Falcons finished in 18th place at 1235/1500. The Chargers of Hillsdale won at 2175/2250.

In sporting clays, Concordia finished in 19th place at 360/500. CUW was led by senior Nathan Fingeroos (Cedarburg, Wis.) at 77/100. Following him was senior Hank Bell (Saukville, Wis.) and junior Mason Schulteis (Kewaskum, Wis.) at 76/100. Freshman Acoya Hotchkiss (Waukesha, Wis.) was at 68, freshman Timothy Gierach (Mequon, Wis.) was at 63, senior William Harr (Great Falls, Mont.) was at 62, and senior Jenna Kerkman (Kenosha, Wis.) was at 59.

In American skeet the Falcons finished in 15th place at 418/500, Acoya Hotchkiss led the flock at 86, with Hank Bell and Timothy Gierach close behind at 84. Nathan Fingeroos finished at 84, Mason Schulteis at 78, and William Harr at 76.

In American trap, the Blue and White finished in 18th place at 457/500. Nathan Fingeroos and Mason Schulteis led the Falcons at 94, with Hank Bell following at 93. Acoya Hotchkiss finished at 89, with William Harr at 87, Timothy Gierach at 84, and Jenna Kerkman at 81.

The Falcons finish the fall season in the USA Clay Target Shooting League Virtual Competition.
