Spranger sprints to NACC Weekly Award

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Samual Spranger made his 2018 outdoor debut last week at the St. Norbert Twilight Thursday night and after a strong performance has been named the NACC Men's Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week. The award is for the events of March 26-April 1 and was announced Monday evening.

Spranger (Fond du Lac, Wis.) won the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.53 at the St. Norbert meet. His time currently ranks 33rd nationally and is tops in the NACC. Spranger also placed third in the 200-meter dash at the St. Norbert meet.

Spranger and the Falcons are scheduled to return to the track Saturday, April 7 at the Beloit Private College Championships. The meet will start at 10 a.m.
