Joshua Klement Claims NACC Student-Athlete of the Week Title

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its weekly Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Wednesday morning. Joshua Klement was voted the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A senior from Muskego, Wisconsin, Joshua Klement is claiming for the first time this season and for the second time in his career. The other time he claimed the honor was April 4, 2021.

Klement recorded a sensational spring break with a 5-0 record at No. 4 singles and a 4-1 record at No. 1 doubles.

At No. 4 singles he beat Kai Kringlie of Concordia Moorhead, 6-3, 6-4, Peyton Bell of LAbion, 7-5, 6-0, Benedek Kaibas of Allegheny, 5-7, 6-3, 10-4, Ryan Broek of Calvin, 7-5, 7-5 and Carter Anderson of St. Scholastica, 6-3, 6-3.

With junior Landon Sather, the duo defeated Concordia Moorhead, 8-1, Albion, 8-3, Calvin 8-6 and St. Scholastica, 8-1.

This is the second time this season that a Falcon has claimed the title, the other being Landon Sather on Feb. 4.

Klement and the Falcons return to action on March 23 at Wisconsin Lutheran in the NACC opener.
