Men's Tennis Scorches St. Scholastica Under the Florida Sun

ORLANDO, Fla. – Spring break action came to an end for the Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team on Friday afternoon. The Falcons ended the week on a high note with a 6-3 victory over St. Scholastica to finish the week at 3-2 and move to 4-5 on the season.

The No. 1 doubles squad of senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) and junior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) blitzed the Saints with an 8-1 victory.

The freshman duo of Shaun Del Vecchio (Alpharetta, Ga.) and freshman Renan Revite (São Bernardo do campo, Brazil) closed doubles play with an 8-3 doubles on court three.

Landon Sather smashed Jonas Abeleda at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-2.

Renan Revite wrangled Eamon Gerrard-Stace at No. 2 singles, 7-6 (3), 6-2.

At No. 4 singles, Joshua Klement crushed Carter Anderson, 6-3, 6-3.

Sophomore Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) came out on top of the battle at No. 6 singles over Reece Patten, 6-3, 6-7 (4), 10-6.

The loss sends St. Scholastica to 5-5 on the year.

The Falcons now turn to Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play that begins on March 23 at Wisconsin Lutheran.
