Falcons Open Spring Break Trip with Two Wins

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team opened their spring break trip on Tuesday morning with a 7-2 victory over Concordia College Moorhead and a 7-2 victory over Albion College. The victories send the Falcons 3-3 on the season.

In the Moorhead match the Falcons soared in the doubles securing all three wins.

The team of senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) and junior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) brought in the first win against Kai Kringlie and Kai Pierce with an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Freshman Renan Revite (São Bernardo do campo, Brazil) and freshman Shaun Del Vecchio (Alpharetta, Ga.) secured the second win with an 8-5 victory over Isaac Maddock and Logan Sandberg at No. 2 doubles.

Rounding out doubles play, the team of freshmen Kristopher Greenhaw (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and sophomore Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) secured the third win with an 8-7 victory over Hunter Rice and Daniel Skrade at No. 3 doubles.

Opening singles play, Concordia Moorhead secured a win in No. 6 singles.

Landon Sather secured a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Logan Sandberg at No. 1 singles.

The Falcons continued to soar as Joshua Klement rolled over Kai Kringlie at No. 4 singles.

At No. 5 singles, Dylan Nadolski snagged a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Hunter Rice.

Concordia Moorhead secured their second win of the day in No. 3 singles.

Renan Revite closed out the victorious match going into a third-set tiebreaker to win at No. 2 singles. 

The Falcons opened the Albion match with the team of Joshua Klement and Landon Sather securing an 8-3 victory over Jacob Doyle and Josh Doyle at No. 1 doubles.

Shaun Del Vecchio and Renan Revite soared past Brandon Blake and Jacob Kubiak with an 8-4 victory at No. 3 doubles.

At No. 2 doubles, Senior Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) and Dylan Nadolski grabbed an 8-6 victory over Drake Malcolm and Brendan Morrison.

In the singles, Landon Sather earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Brendan Morrison at No. 1 singles.

At No. 6 singles, Albion took a win.

Shaun Del Vecchio soared past Drake Malcolm with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles.

Renan Revite won at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Josh Doyle.

Albion secured their second win of the match in the No. 5 singles.

At No. 4 singles, Joshua Klement finished the day for the Falcons with a 7-5, 6-0 victory over Jacob Doyle.

The Falcons compete Wednesday afternoon as they continue their spring break matches against Allegheny College.
