Men’s Soccer Sweeps NACC Weekly Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Men's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday morning. The Falcons swept the honors with Tyler Salvador and Mattson Wick.

A senior from Lindenhurst, Illinois, Tyler Salvador is claiming the honor for the first time in his career. Against Illinois Tech, he scored a hat trick on three shots.

A junior from New Berlin, Wisconsin, Mattson Wick is also claiming the honor for the first time in his career. Wick did not allow a goal in nearly two full games as Concordia Wisconsin shut out Wisconsin Lutheran (3-0) and Illinois Tech (4-0) last week. He made two saves en route to a clean sheet against the Warriors on Sept. 22, then added two more saves in just over 80 minutes before yielding to a substitute against the Scarlet Hawks on Sept. 25.

The Falcons return to action on Wednesday against St. Norbert.
