Falcon Special Teams gearing up for Lakeland

MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin football team is preparing for the final game of the season this Saturday, when they host Lakeland College in the "Cheese Bowl" at Century Stadium.

The Falcons are looking to go out on a high note, and a win against the Muskies this weekend means CUW will finish tied for third in the Northern Athletics Conference.

Special Teams Coordinator Jeff Walker is in his 8th year with CUW, and leads a unit that ranks third in the NAC in kickoff returns. CUW has posted impressive numbers in the punting game as well.

The special teams battle will be crucial on Saturday, as Lakeland comes into the game ranked third in the conference in net punting, and second in punt return average.

Saturday's matchup is scheduled for 12 p.m.
