CUW selected as host of ABCA Barnstormers Clinic

MEQUON, Wis. – Kapco Park, one of the best facilities in Division III Baseball, will serve as host to a 2017 ABCA Barnstormers Clinic, the organization announced last week.

The ABCA Barnstormers Clinics are one-day events for baseball coaches and focus on fundamentals, practical position-specific drills, coaching cues, and practice organization tips. The events typically run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. CUW will be just one of two Division III hosts.

The clinics will feature ABCA member speakers from that region. The speakers will cover a variety of topics, including hitting, pitching, arm care, catching, base runner, defense, and much more.

The cost for the ABCA clinic is $40 for non-members of the organization, or $25 for coaches who also register for a 2017-18 ABCA Membership at the same time.
