Thomas named NACC Baseball Position Player of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Bryan Thomas has been named the NACC Baseball Position Player of the Week for the events of April 24-30, the league office announced Monday.
Thomas (Lowell, Ind.) hit .500 over a 3-1 week for the Falcons. He tallied three extra-base hits and scored four runs while driving in four as well. The senior outfielder/catcher went 5-for-8 with three runs scored and three RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of Marian Saturday, including recording the game-tying hit in the eighth inning of game one.
The award is the second straight for a Falcons position player as senior Matt Schubert (West Bend, Wis.) was honored last week.
Thomas and the Falcons will visit MSOE for a NACC doubleheader tomorrow. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
