Olig named NACC Pitcher of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin freshman Matthew Olig has been named the NACC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the events of April 10-16, the league office announced Tuesday.
Olig (Plymouth, Wis.) turned in a quality start in the Falcons 21-3 rout of No. 3 UW-Whitewater last week, earning his first career win. In just his second career start, Olig kept the Warhawks in check by allowing five hits and two earned runs. He struck out three and did not walk any.
Olig and the Falcons are back in action today with a non-conference game at Ripon. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
