Four Falcons Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its CSCS Academic All-District Team for at-large sports on Tuesday morning.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Falcons landed four selections on Tuesday.
The women's lacrosse program secured two honorees with junior Anna Gong of Phoenix, Arizona, and junior Eliana Fuchs of Brookfield, Wisconsin.
The senior captain of the CUW women's hockey team, Emily Reimche of Billings, Montana, earned the honor.
Senior Andy Ellingham of Burlington, Wisconsin, represented the CUW men's volleyball team as well on Tuesday.
This is the first time that any of the four have claimed the honor.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
