Bio

Ryan Young completed his third season as the assistant coach of the CUW women's basketball program in 2024-25.
 
Young has spent the last three years as the Living Word Girls Varsity basketball coach in Jackson, Wisconsin, where they had double-digit wins in two out of three seasons in the Midwest Classic Conference and advanced to two Regional Championships in three years.
 
Previously to Living Word, he was the Assistant Varsity Boys coach at Lakeshore High School in Stevensville, Michigan, where they won two conference championships in three years and finished as the State Runner-up in Class B 2016. 
 
Prior to coaching Young played in the NAC at Concordia University Chicago graduating in 2010. He is currently ranked top-10 in points scored with 1,246 points scored, first in three-pointers made in season with 70, second in three-point percentage in a season at 44%, and second all-time in three-pointers made in a career with 245. He was also named a first team all-conference player in 2008 and 2009 and honorable mention in 2005. 
 
After graduating college he played for three years 2011-2013 in the PBL (Professional Basketball League) in America for the Lake Michigan Admirals. Where he led the team in three-pointers made and in three-point percentage during my three years with the team. 
 
He currently resides in West Bend, Wisconsin with his wife Courtney and two-year-old daughter Stella. He is also currently the Athletic Director and Middle School teacher at St. John’s West Bend.
