ST LOUIS – Fontbonne was too much for Concordia Wisconsin from the start on Friday evening, taking a 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-12) non-conference decision.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Fontbonne jumped out to a 6-2 lead before increasing it to 15-6 and eventually taking the opening set behind a .367 attack percentage and three aces.
- Concordia Wisconsin answered with its best stretch of play to begin the second set, owning a 6-1 advantage. During the quick scoring run they capitalized on three Griffin attack errors, pair of kills and a Will Driver service ace. They also put together a 4-2 scoring run late in the third stanza.
- Freshman Sam Rovik (Silver Lake, Wis.) had four kills to lead the Falcons offense, while freshman Matthew Korman (Roscoe, Ill.) recorded eight assists.
- Freshman Jeremy Theis had five digs and freshman Blake Schwandt (Kenosha, Wis.) registered two block assists.

THE OPPOSITION
- Tony Pitaro had a match-best nine kills, while Kolin Schwarnhorst and Lendy Stephen recorded eight and seven kills, respectively. TJ Vorva also had six kills.
- Lendy had 30 assists, while a pair of his teammates served a trio of aces.
