Dance Shines at Concordia Chicago

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin dance team competed at the Concordia Chicago Cougar Spring Collegiate Dance Invite on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons competed in the pom and hip-hop competitions, with two individual performances. The Falcons medaled in every performance on Sunday.

The Falcons opened the day in the pom competition against Aurora, Trinity, North Central, North Park, Elmhurst and Concordia Chicago. The Falcons finished in third place with 62.2 points.

The Blue and White had the competition throwing in the towel in the hip-hop competition winning with 61.5 points.

Concordia claimed two of the medals in the individual competition with junior Julia Quartuccio (Milwaukee, Wis.) finishing in first place at 57.8 points and sophomore Sienna Cleek (Morris, Ill.) in third place at 56.27 points.

Concordia Chicago won the pom competition with 63.9 points and the team with 66.8. North Central won the jazz competition at 64.9 points.

The Falcons return to action on March 30 at the Midwest Invite.
