Dance reclaims CIT title
RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The CUW dance team claimed its second CIT title on Saturday at Concordia Chicago. The Falcons won the first-ever CIT title in 2018.
CUW claimed the first-place finish with 58.83 points.
"These athletes have practiced so hard and gave it everything they had," head coach Taylor Kirkpatrick said. "Their time together has made them stronger as a team and they have pushed themselves beyond what was asked of them. We are so incredibly proud of this amazing team."
Concordia Chicago finished in second place with 55.67 points
Concordia Ann Arbor placed third at 54.00 points and Concordia Nebraska rounded out the field at 51.33 points.
The Blue and White are the first team at the Concordia Invitational Tournament to win away from home.
