Abby Proefrock Named NACC Defensive Player of the Week 

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday morning. Abby Proefrock was voted as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week for women's volleyball by the sports information professionals within the conference.  

A freshman from Grafton, Wisconsin, is claiming the honor for the first time in her career.  

She picked up a career-high 21 digs in a 3-2 victory over Lakeland. She also had five assists and a kill in the NACC-clinching victory. 

In the 3-0 sweep of No. 14 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, she had nine digs, three assists, and a service ace.  

Proefrock and the Falcons return to action on Thursday night in the NACC Tournament Semifinals.
