Women's Golf in 4th after 2nd round of NACC Championship

RACINE, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin improved 11 strokes from the opening round but was unable to move up the leaderboard at the NACC Championship on Sunday afternoon at Meadowbrook Country Club. The Falcons remained in fourth place and Gabrielle Flocco leads the lineup and is a tie for 11th place.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin golfed better on Sunday, 11 strokes better than the opening round, despite rain and cooler temperatures. They were unable to move up the leaderboard and remain in fourth place with a two-day total of 793 (402-391).
- Freshman Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) leads the Falcons lineup and is in a tie for 11th place after shooting a 97 on Sunday to move her total to 186. The top-10 players of the championship receive All-NACC honor.
- Junior Molly Mundinger (West Bend, Wis.) carded a 95 in tough conditions and is in a tie for 18th place with a 194 total. Junior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) had the greatest improvement in the Falcons lineup by 15 strokes after signing for a 95 after shooting a 110 in the opening round. She is in 21st position.
- Senior Taylor Chisolm (Lindenhurst, Ill.) carded another 104 and has 208 total strokes, while freshman Madison Ferch (Davenport, Iowa) shot a 122 for two-round score of 246.
- Aurora continues to lead all teams and has a 704 total and is ahead of St. Norbert by 22 strokes.
- Ali Wilson (Lakeland) is the top golfer on the leaderboard with a 170 (83-87) total and holds a two-shot advantage over Hannah Schultz (Aurora).

- Concordia Wisconsin will finish the three-day, 54-hole NACC Championship on Monday.
