Women's Basketball drains 11 3s in road victory

AURORA, Ill. -- A pair of Clara Chambers 3-pointers jump-started a Concordia Wisconsin 18-8 scoring run over the final six-plus minutes of the contest, which turned a deficit into an 86-78 NACC victory at Aurora.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Concordia Wisconsin led by five points entering the fourth quarter, but that quickly evaporated into a four-point deficit, 70-66, with eight minutes and 29 seconds to play in the contest.
- The Falcons were efficient on the offensive end of the court, scoring over 20 points in three of the four quarters. They drained 11 3-pointers and shot 44.3 percent for the game. They also scored 17 points off 12 Spartan turnovers. In addition, they dominated the glass, outrebounded the hosts 40-27 and hauled in 14 offensive rebounds.
- Chambers (senior, Mineral Point, Wis.) and junior Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) each scored a team-high 19 points and combined for eight of the long balls. Chambers also had four assists.
- Junior Hannah Boettcher (Columbus, Wis.) and senior Kaitlyn Foster (Janesville, Wis.) combined for 21 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Freshman Camryn Kratt (Cudahy, Wis.) ended with eight points and seven rebounds.
- Aurora was led by Julie Galauner who had a game-high 22 points.
