Men's Tennis drops matches to Luther, Carthage

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin Falcons struggled in a double-header against the Luther Norse and the Carthage Red Men on Sunday, falling in both non-conference matches.

THE BASICS
- Final Score: Norse 7, Falcons 2 | Red Men 8, Falcons 1
- Order of Finish: Doubles (1,2,3), Singles (4,3,1,2,6,5) | Doubles (2,1,3), Singles (4,3,2,1,5,6)
- Records: Falcons 1-3, Luther 3-0, Red Men 2-2

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening match against Luther, Christian Docter (Madison, Wis.) and Cole Werning (Watertown, Wis.) earned the Falcons a doubles point with an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot.
- Nolan Rademacher (Monument, Colo.) won the other Falcon point in a 3-6, 7-5, 10-5 victory at No. 2 singles.
- The match against Carthage was less successful. Docter won the lone Falcon point with a 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 win at No. 2 singles.

UP NEXT
-The Falcons return home to the Pleasant Valley Tennis Club to face the Lawrence Vikings on Saturday, February 15, at 3pm.
