Another close loss for CUW men’s hockey

Concordia rallied from 2-0 and 4-1 deficits to create a 4-4 tie before falling to Marian 5-4 on the road Saturday evening.
Marian's Chris Thompson lit the lamp with just :40 to go in regulation to keep Tony Hrkac' team winless on the season.

Niclas Soderberg, Bradley Lukacz, and Jari Sanders all scored in one spectacular five minute third period flurry for CUW to create the momentary stalemate before Thompson's game -winner.

Sanders also scored in the first segment for CUW and added a pair of assists. Everett Devlin turned away 49 Sabre shots.

The Sabres are now 9-2-0 in the league while CUW falls to 0-11-1.
