Football Duo Earns Academic All-District Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW football program had two players named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District Football Team, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Concordia Wisconsin had senior Adam Taylor and senior Connor Stoming selected to the team.

An offensive lineman from Glendale, Arizona, Adam Taylor is claiming the honor for the first time. He boasts a grade-point average of 3.84 with a major in sport entertainment & business.

A linebacker from Germantown, Wisconsin, Connor Stoming is also making his first All-District Team with a 3.99 grade-point average in finance.

The Falcons soared in the classroom as a team this year and posted a team grade-point average of 3.1 in the spring semester and had 60 players earn a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

District VI is composed of schools from Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

CUW is the only NACC school to land multiple selections. Aurora had one player named to the District VII Team.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early July.
