Football Sweeps NACC Weekly Honors

MEQUON, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its Student-Athletes of the Week awards for Football on Wednesday morning. Coming off a 37-21 victory over Eureka, the Falcons swept this week's honors with junior James Linn, senior Dwayne Rackard III and sophomore Mason Kaschinski.

A junior quarterback from Chino Hills, California, James Linn is claiming the NACC Offensive Player of the Week honor for the first time in his career. Linn passed for 386 yards against Eureka and finished the game with five touchdowns in the victory.

A senior linebacker from Orlando, Florida, Dwayne Rackard III is taking the NACC Defensive Player of the Week title for the first time this season and the second time in his career. Rackard tore up the Red Devil's offense on Saturday and finished the game with 13 total tackles and recovered one fumble. He also broke up two passes.

A sophomore from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mason Kaschinske is being honored as the NACC Special Teams Player of the Week for the first time in his career. On Saturday, he added four extra points and landed his lone field goal attempt on the afternoon. He also punted once against Eureka and pinned the Red Devils inside the 20-yard line.

The Falcons finished the season with a winning record at 3-2 on the year.
