Polasek to give Hall of Fame speech at halftime of Men's Basketball game

MEQUON, Wis. – Tim Polasek will give his Athletic Hall of Fame induction speech during halftime of Tuesday's Men's Basketball game against Edgewood College at 7 p.m. The former quarterback could not make the Oct. 5 ceremony because of a winter snowstorm.

Polasek was one of the greatest signal callers to wear a Falcons uniform, as he holds the school record for total offensive yards (398) and passing attempts (54) in a single game, and passing yards (6,979) and passing touchdowns (65) in a career. He was the 2000 Badger-Illini Conference Player of the Year and a three-time all-conference selection.

Polasek recently finished his seventh season as the special teams coordinator and fullback/tight ends coach at North Dakota State University, which just won its second-consecutive NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision title. NDSU was unanimously selected as the No. 1 team in the nation (FCS).
