Falcons look to go 2-0 in NAC

Maranatha (0-4) enters Century Stadium with losses to Martin Luther (42-18), at Crown (48-14), at Macalester (21-0) and last week to Wisconsin Lutheran (40-7).

Since the Northern Athletics Conference (for football) was formed in 2008, the Crusaders have gone 0-15 in league play and are 0-2 all-time against Concordia (falling 34-6 in 2009 and 43-6 in 2008.

On Saturday Maranatha will not only be looking for their first ever NAC victory, but the Crusaders will also be hoping to snap a 28-game regular-season losing streak, with their last victory coming on September 29th, 2007, over Principia College (20-14).

So far the Crusaders have put together a very balanced offense, averaging 91.8 rushing and 90.8 receiving yards. Phil Littrell and Bobby O'Brien (listed as a RB) have split the quarterback responsibilities, with Logan Beer being the team's top rusher (statistically) and Matt Morrison (by yardage) the team's top receiver.
