Esports weekly recap (March 14-26)

MEQUON, Wis. -- Despite the cancelation of all sports, Concordia Wisconsin's esports team is still able to compete in the virtual world over the past week-plus.

The Fortnite duo of Nick Horschak (nickshaq) and Aidan O'Donnell (OD3215) competed on March 18 and earned four points. They played seven rounds and placed 47th, 20th, 50th, 23rd, 17th, 19th and 32nd for an average round finish of 29.7. nickshaq had three eliminations and OD3215 had one elimination.

Juan Zuniga (Vortex) and Kevin Tellez (Xtreme_Batman775) also competed in Fortnite on March 18 and March 25. They earned 23 points on the March 18 game and placed 39th overall and placed 20th, 27th, 38th, seventh and 12th in the five rounds. Vortex had 14 eliminations, the highest by a Concordia Wisconsin Fortnite player thus far in any game, while Xtreme_Batman775 had one elimination. ON March 25 they played six rounds and finished 44th, 40th, 23rd, 29th, 47th and 29th. Vortex recorded six eliminations and Xtreme_Batman775 had two eliminations of his own.
