Bio

Kasey Kleiner is in her third season as the assistant coach in the 2023-24 season. 

Before coming to Concordia, Kleiner was at Knox College as the women’s basketball assistant and a part of the strength and conditioning staff.

She also spent two years as the women’s basketball assistant at Carthage College. Kleiner also held a graduate assistant position for women’s basketball with Carthage for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Kleiner was also an assistant coach and JV coach at Culver Stockton College. 

She is a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and USA Weight Lifting Certified.

During her playing days at Carthage, she was named team captain, MVP, and earned the Scholar Award and All-Conference honors. She made appearances in the quarterfinals, second round, and third round of the NCAA Division III Tournament and was also a part of two conference championships.

Kleiner earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise and sport science from Carthage in 2015 and her Master of Education in educational leadership from Carthage in 2017.

She is a graduate of Shoreland Lutheran High School.
