Wrestling prepared for CCIW Championship

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin has been preparing all season for the CCIW (College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) Wrestling Championship, which starts on Thursday at 2 pm.

The Falcons have competed all season across the region in tournaments and duals in anticipation of Thursday. In the CCIW Wrestling Championship Coaches' Poll, Concordia Wisconsin was chosen to finish seventh, in a vote by the league's head coaches. Last season they placed sixth after earning 60.0 points. North Central was picked to win the title with six first-place votes, while Millikin also earned two first-place votes. North Central won the title last year.
