Pattengale named NCHA Defensive Player of the Week
DULUTH, Minn. - Christina Pattengale has been named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced.
Pattengale (Portage, Mich.) posted a 1-0-1 mark on the weekend in a series against St. Norbert College. She made 35 total saves for a .921 save percentage, adding a 1.44 goals-against average while recording 17 stops in the opening 5-1 win and 18 more in the second game - a 2-2 overtime finish.
This is the fourth time in her career that Pattengale has won the award.
