Kelsey Bollon Reclaims Academic All-District Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) once again honored Kelsey Bollon for her great work on the diamond and in the classroom. For the second-straight year, Bollon was voted onto the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team on Thursday afternoon.

Bollon has a 4.00 grade-point average at Concordia Wisconsin.

Last year, Bollon became the first Falcon to earn Academic All-American honors within the softball program.

Bollon heads into the NCAA Division III Tournament with 43 hits on 10 doubles and one home run. She also has 33 runs and 29 runs batted in, while also drawing 11 walks and two stolen bases. The Illinois native currently boasts a .335 batting average, a .448 on-base percentage and a .463 slugging percentage.

District VI is composed of schools from Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The 2022 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.

Bollon was one of only two NACC student-athletes to claim the honor.
