Men’s Cross Country takes 24th at Blugold Invitational
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Falcons of the CUW men's cross country team finished in 24th place at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational with 705 points. St. Olaf won with 88 points.
Sophomore Wesley Schiek (Oshkosh, Wis.) led the Falcons with a 108th-place finish at 26:48.2
In 167th place was senior Ryan Teigen (Fargo, N.D.) at 27:22.7.
Sophomore Jack Kral (Kohler, Wis.) clocked in a time of 28:19.9 in 271st place.
Freshman Zachary Heckman (Sussex, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 29:30.3 in 354th place.
Freshman Quinn Hoopman (Cedar Grove, Wis.) finished right behind at 29:30.5.
Freshman Derek Ruona (Grafton, Wis.) recorded a time of 32:06.8 in 415th place.
Sophomore Derrick Folkman (Bonduel, Wis.) sat in 423rd place at 32:38.8.
Freshman Tim Steinke (Brookfield, Wis.) secured a 441st-place finish at 35:20.2.
Sophomore Grant Fox (Mequon, Wis.) rounded out the Falcons in 445th place at 38:27.7.
The Falcons return to action on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Lawrence.
