MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team competed against MSOE and Concordia Chicago on Saturday to finish the regular season. The Falcons opened the day with a 2-7 loss to MSOE. The birds rebounded and crunched Concordia with a 9-0 victory to improve to 6-13 on the year and to 3-4 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
The Falcons took two points from the Raiders in singles play on Saturday.
Sophomore Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) secured a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Joe Chong at No. 1 singles.
Freshman Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) rallied to defeat Alex Nakasato at No. 3 singles, 1-6, 6-2, 6-3.
The duo of Landon Sather and senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
At No. 2 doubles, Dylan Nadolski and junior Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) won, 8-0.
Freshman Jordan Wright (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and freshman Nathan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) bounced the Cougars on court three, 8-3.
Landon Sather swept Nathan Stringer, 6-0, 6-0.
Joshua Klement cruised past Reynaldo Leal at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Dylan Nadolski knocked down Caleb Gustafson at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Isaac Bruins beat up Diego Loveshe at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
At No. 5 singles, Nathan Bilan beat Kevin Januska, 6-0, 6-0.
Senior Zachary Miller (Janesville, Wis.) sank Joshua Gustafson at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-0.
With today's the Falcons secured a spot in the NACC Tournament and will compete in the quarterfinals on April 24.
