Men's Lacrosse Sweeps NACC Weekly Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week honors for men's lacrosse on Wednesday morning. Noah Brandt was voted as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week and Max Esposito was voted as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A sophomore attackman from Gaithersburg, Maryland, Max Esposito, is claiming the honor for the second-straight week.

A senior midfielder from Owatonna, Minnesota, Noah Brandt is claiming his first NACC weekly honor.

Esposito stuffed the stat sheet with 13 goals on the week with four assists against Marian and CUC and five against Hanover.

He also added 10 assists with three against CUC and Hanover and four against Marian.

Brandt played a key role in the one-goal victory over Marian with 18 faceoff victories in 24 attempts. He also had 11 ground balls.

At CUC, he had 11 faceoff victories, six ground balls and a goal.

He finished the busy week with 16 faceoff victories and 14 ground balls.

The Falcons return to action on Saturday in a battle of unbeaten NACC teams against Aurora.
